Since free Seesaw teacher accounts aren't connected to a 'School', students are technically using a new account every school year. This means that families will need to be added again if they want to see their child's journal.
The paid Seesaw for Schools subscription allows student content to carry over each year. This means that if a student stays at the same school from K-7, parents can see their entire learning journey!
This functionality isn't available for free users. When you archive your previous year's class, connected parents will receive an email with instructions for downloading their child's class journal before the journal is permanently removed.
