How to subscribe to your school's staff or public Google Calendars

If your school uses Google Calendar to manage its staff or public events, you can easily add (or 'subscribe') to these calendars to always have a convenient, birds-eye view of what's happening at your school.

Here's how you can subscribe to your school's public and staff Google Calendars:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome and head to Google Calendar.

  2. Beside Other Calendars, click on the + button, and then click Subscribe to a calendar.

  3. In the Add a calendar box, add the (often super long) Calendar ID for the desired Google Calendar. You'll find these in the Teacher Toolkit here in Classmate Compass for your school.

  4. Click Add or hit Return.

  5. You're done! The new calendar will be visible under the Other Calendars heading in Google Calendar.
