Is your Chromebook asking for an old password when you try to log in?

If you've logged into a Chromebook and then change your Google password, the Chromebook may prompt you for the old password before letting you log in again. Typing in the old password should fix the issue.

What if I don't know my old password?

1. After logging in with the new password, click "Forgot your old password?" 

   

2. Click "Proceed anyways"

   

If the issue is persistent, submit a support request with the Chromebook number and we can remotely clear its profiles.
